Privacy Policy

First and foremost, thank you for using BrokerZero. We aspire to be wonderful hosts; therefore, your privacy is important to us. Our goal is to be completely transparent about what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we plan to use it. When you use BrokerZero's web site, you are consenting to the collection, storage, transfer, disclosure and other uses of your information, as discussed in our Privacy Policy. Please read this carefully.

Why do we collect any information?

We obtain some information on all our users in order to provide the best web site experience. You probably wouldn't appreciate it if your friend ask you to remind her of your name each visit... nor, would you want us to ask you the same questions every visit. In real estate, location matters tremendously as the laws differ from state to state, and even county to county and city to city. Furthermore, we retain some personal information from each visit in order to recall what we've been able to accomplish together.

What do we collect?

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail and sign up for services, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, aggregate information on service usage, and information volunteered by the customer. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our web site and improve the quality of our Service.

Like many other web sites, we use technologies like log data, cookies and third party analytics pixels to collect and analyze information about our users. The information we collect may be “personally identifiable” (meaning the information may be used to specifically identify you as a unique person) or “non-personally identifiable” (meaning the information cannot be used to specifically identify you). We may use or store information wherever BrokerZero operates.

Log Data: When you use BrokerZero, our servers automatically record information (“log data”) including information that your browser sends whenever you visit a web site. This log data may include your IP address, pages visited, browser type, operating system, the date and time, search terms, and geolocation.

Cookie data: We may use “cookies” (a small text file saved within your browser folder), or similar technologies to record log data. When we use cookies, we may use “session” cookies (that last until you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (that last until you or your browser delete them). For example, we may use cookies to store your location or other settings so you don't have to set them up every time you visit BrokerZero.

Third Party Analytics pixels: We may also collect information about each user, including device, demographics, operating system, location, browser size, pages visited, referring web site, search terms and more. Google offers an opt-out browser add-on that is compatible with many Internet browsers including Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer 8+.

How do we use the information we collect?

We use the information we collect to provide our Service to you and to make it better. For example, we may log how often people use two different versions of our web site, which can help us understand which version is better for all users.

We also use the information we collect to offer you customized content, including legal forms specific to your state and county of residence, and regional contacts to provide professional assistance with aspects of selling your home.

We also use the information we collect to provide our users with e-mail updates. As noted in our Terms of Use, you have control over the types and frequency of the e-mails you will receive from us and you have the ability to unsubscribe at any time.

What is our policy on children's information?

BrokerZero is not directed to children under the age of 13. If you learn that your minor has provided us with personal information without the consent of an adult, please contact us at privacy@brokerzero.com.

Questions?

We may change this policy from time to time, and if we do we will post any changes on this Privacy Policy. If you continue to use BrokerZero after those changes are in effect, you agree to the revised policy. If the changes are significant, we may provide more prominent notice.
